An Evening of Conversation, Gastronomy & Wine with Alice Waters
Thu, May 15 at 6pm
Beloved chef and restaurateur Alice Waters will take the stage at Godmothers to discuss We Are What We Eat: A Slow Food Manifesto and her New York Times–bestselling memoir, Coming to My Senses: The Making of a Counterculture Cook. She'll be joined in conversation by Richard Christiansen, the founder of Flaminogo Estate and the author of Flamingo Estate: The Guide to Becoming Alive.
Following their conversation (which will include a Q&A and book-signing) we'll adjourn to the patio for a cocktail reception under the stars, where guests will enjoy appetizers inspired by Alice Waters recipes—prepared by the Godsons, the Michelin-trained chefs behind the Godmothers Café—and a selection of Babcock Winery wines.
