Cannabis Camp will feature speakers on the myriad of topics related to marijuana legalization and Santa Barbara. From health and wellness to rules and regulations to practical tips on how to grow your own, this will be the most comprehensive and honest public discussion about cannabis in the South Coast to date.

 

SPEAKERS

 

GRAHAM FARRAR

Graham is a serial entrepreneur who taps into the explosive growth of emerging markets. An original member of Software.com, he helped it grow from the start-up phase through its initial public NASDAQ offering in 1999. While running an upscale luxury rental management company that he began in 2003, he also became an early member of Sonos, a highly successful next-generation digital home stereo company. With that business firmly established and growing, he turned to the educational app and ebook market to found iStoryTime, a leading multi-platform library of mobile children’s entertainment. Graham thrives on a highly active life, which includes multi-year sailboat adventures, piloting, and mountain biking, along with spending quality family time with his wife and two elementary-aged children.

 

DR. ERIC GOODMAN

Dr. Eric Goodman is the author of two best selling books on Chronic Pain Management (Foundation and True To Form). He developed the Foundation Training Method, and is now diligently researching to understand and explain correlations between Pain Relief, Neuroplasticity and the Mammalian Cannabinoid System. He's a brand new father to Sunora and a damn fine husband to Jen.

 

ADRIAN SEDLIN

A lifelong entrepreneur, Adrian Sedlin builds brands and cash flow businesses from $0-$150MM in sales.  Over his 25 year career, Mr. Sedlin has raised over $100MM in capital, created 5 successful exits, and thrived in diverse industries including B2B ecommerce, B2G SaaS, direct response, and consumer packaged goods. In 2015, Mr. Sedlin left early retirement to launch CANNDESCENT, a California cultivator of ultra-premium cannabis, and the first municipally-permitted cultivator south of San Jose.  As CANNDESCENT’s CEO, Mr. Sedlin also serves on the board of the Desert Hot Springs Cannabis Alliance Network, Co-Chairs the Policy Council for the National Cannabis Industry Association, and contributes to mg magazine.

 

CHRISTIE STRONG

Christie Strong has been working in storytelling, branding, and social media for over thirteen years. In April 2015 Christie joined the marketing team at the leading cannabis edibles company Kiva Confections. She has since become an ardent advocate for cannabis and its health benefits, and a knowledgeable resource for education on microdosing and edibles safety. She wrote the CA Cannabis Industry Association's patient education site SafeCannabisUse.com and is currently on the National Cannabis Industry Association's Marketing and Advertising Committee. She is passionate about using the power of storytelling to advocate for the safe and effective use of this ancient medicine.

 

CHELSEA SUTULA

CEO of Sespe Creek Collective since 2011, Chelsea has actively lobbied local and state legislators for safe access to cannabis since 2013 and was honored to open the first permitted dispensary in Ventura County in November 2017. As a social entrepreneur she seeks to build friendly but professional brands, leveraging technology to streamline operations, while providing high-touch service with a strong focus on patient education. She serves on the board of the League of Women Voters/Ventura County and Surfcat Rescue and Adoptions. Sutula holds an MS in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Psychology from Northwestern University.
